For Why + Wherefore's second show, entitled TBD, we are playing a game of curatorial
telephone, as it were: Lumi selects the first work and explains why she chose it, Summer
selects the next by way of addressesing Lumi's, then Nicholas picks the following as a
reaction to Summer's choice. Next it goes back back to Lumi, and so on. (We chose the
order by guessing which number a guy we met at a bar had come up with.) Each of the
works selected will be loaded in real time, as the choices are made. We plan on taking
about two months to finish curating the show, which will include thirty works in the
final analysis.
TBD is not only a game of telephone, but also a game of hide and seek. Because Why +
Wherefore is an online venture, we thought it appropriate to complicate the rules of the
show by also appropriating each work from somewhere else on the internet. We apologize
in advance if you are someone whose work is included if you'd rather it weren't. Please
email us immediately using the "about" section of the main page, and we will remove
your work as soon as we can. Every effort has been made to credit work appropriately.
