“Social Separation” by CarianaCarianne. “Social Seperation” is a series of letters written to and received from the Social Security Administration concerning a request for two social security cards and numbers. “Social seperation” was unsuccessful.
“Untitled, 2003” was initiated in 2002 when Andrea Fraser approached Friedrich Petzel Gallery to arrange a commission with a private collector on her behalf. The requirements for the commission were to include a sexual encounter between Fraser and a collector, which would be recorded on videotape, with the first exemplar of the edition going to the participating collector.

»Role Exchange«, 1975 performance by Marina Abramovic. This dual performance was executed in two institutions, De Appel Gallery and the Red Light District in Amsterdam. For the opening night of the artist’s exhibition, the prostitute went to the gallery, the artist’s working place, while the artist, assuming the role of a prostitute, went to the Red Light District, and set in the window, the prostitute’s working place.

»Untitled I (Google Sleep)«, 2005-2006, installation with photos of anonymous sleeping people. Each photo was selected from an archive of over a thousand of images of sleeping people whose photos were published on the internet and who were found by Google’s image search engine. By Martijn Hendriks.
