“Unland” is a kind of recoded giant piece of origami approaches the themes of reality and geography in an abstract manner: a paper sculpture hung from thin nylon strings, becomes a projection sphere, a reservoir of associations, recalling, possibly, a cloud, or an iceberg, an island or artificial organism.

An imaginary seismogram investigates the field between language & drawing, static & dynamic, sound & image by mapping out the tensions between these conceptual tectonic plates: “Zero Bending” by Nikolaus Gansterer.

Danius Kesminas exhibition »Vodka Sans Frontieres« derives from the 2004 discoveries of illegal underground pipelines pumping vodka into Lithuania. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a vodka pipeline organ. Made from plastic sewerage pipes, the organ resembles the Lithuanian folk instrument skudučiai, but it’s end product is not vodka, but music. Air is pumped into the pipes by a revolving barrel, which regulates the valves of the organ to play a traditional Lithuanian drinking song, Gerkit Gerkit, Broliukai (Drink Brothers, Drink).

The main issue in “The Unknown” by Marc Behrens is the spectator’s experience. But despite the installation being silent when not touched it is not just about modulating a sound space, but rather about the limits of perception which are explored by the sensor’s function.
