“My life is an interactive fiction II“, 2009 by Gregory Chatonsky. In a performative action, the artist turns his private life into an interactive fiction: Before any decision he has to make, Chatonsky sends his options to the exhibition’s computer and waits until a visitor decides for him, and he will do what he is told.

“Between You and I”, 2006 by Anthony McCall. Vertical solid light installation, two video projectors, two haze machines. Video (“You and I, Horizontal III”, 2007).

“Wild Signals”, 2007 by Kevin Schmidt. The videoinstallation features the five-note melody that served to communicate with extraterrestrials in Steven Spielberg’s film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”.

“Suite of Six diptychs in Red(A), Orange(E), Yellow(I), Green(O), Blue(U), and Purple(Y)”, 2006 by Ricci Albenda.

“Make Your Own Life“, 2006 by Merlin Carpenter. The artist asked the ICA Philadelphia, the original venue for this exhibition, to provide him with $4,000 cash. The artist then went on a shopping spree consuming luxurious goods and services, with only the receipts and empty shopping bags exhibited.

“Les Renseignements Généraux”, 2007 by Mark Geffriaud. Photographs, silver prints. “Les Renseignements généraux” (named after the French secret service literally meaning “global information”) is a book never intended to be either finished or published and which can take many forms.

“Measuring the Universe”, 2007 by Roman Ondák. People visiting the exhibition are offered to be measured by museum attendants.
