Do cats eat porpotionally to how clean their litter is?

it seems as though my cat eats less when her litter is full. It seems logical. Maybe she is worried that she will not have any clean place to use the bathroom.

A cats appetite is proportionate to its hunger. If the litter tray is full, it will just crap elsewhere.
BTW, leaving the litter tray until its chocca is stressful for the cat (not to mention gross!). So clean it out daily ;)
