this website has changed my life forever. it is amazing. the manphotos and the ladyphotos and the bees and the animation gifs and the dithering and the waves. it is like being on the internet again.

Indeed. I’m still getting a PDF trying to load when I come to this page so I’ve removed your links, sorry. And sorry if it’s not you but some invisible critter on this page causing this that has nothing to do with you.

Hmmm, now it appears the embed or script or whatever it is is on the Nasty Nets front page. When I click through from bloglines to Nasty Nets a damaged pdf starts trying to load on my computer.

Weird. Is it that trafing.net thing? I noticed that’s coming up with NoScript, and I have it blocked by default so I haven’t had any PDFs accosting me. My link and I seem to be clean so I’m not sure how something could’ve jumped on here but yeah. Weird!

I did a search for ‘trafing.net malware’ on Google and it seems to have something to do with malicious code in Javascript, specifically what includes ‘advQuery’ which I did find in the source. Just remove that wherever you see it and it should be all right, from what I gather.

a few days ago, i was getting safari’s malware warning when loading the front page (using a mac). things seem to be fine now.

Thanks for the comments, britta and lofighost. I also got the trojan warning a few days ago but wasn’t sure where it was coming from. The “pdf loading” thing didn’t happen today so I don’t know what that was about.
Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to edit any of the Word Press code for NN–hopefully someone who does will see this thread.

hopefully i deleted it from the code… this is the second time its happened! :(

Thanks, Guthrie. The web is a sticky, icky place.

i got the malware warning again a few minutes ago when i loaded the homepage, with a different offending domain listed. but then when i refreshed the homepage, the warning wasn’t there anymore. caching or mysteriousness? i’m not sure…

i kinda wish the malware warning was on purpose! maybe i should post a screenshot of it. glitch.

Yeah! There’s another one from go00ogle.net which is actually a jerk site unlike better gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogles. Have you guys checked the PDF out? I bet it’s someone’s new way to distribute their webzine.
