What is the story on Welcome to Adobe Golive?

- tom moody — 1/4/07 @ 11:37 pm

Ahhhh, sorry… when you make a new webpage in Adobe GoLive, it automatically titles your page “Welcome To Adobe GoLive” unless you change it. (and GoLive is like Dreamweaver, a fancy program that lets you design websites).. so this is sort of like a corporate version of “untitled document”.

“last modified” “intitle:index of “ “intitle:secret”

note theageofmammals.com is in first page. (This may have been how I found nastynets — via secretstash, but my brane is olde.)

so wierd about the index of /secret stuff… apparently hackers search it a lot while hunting for passwords, etc, and because of that (and the google ranking), this is my #2 most viewed page..

thanks Marc!, are those Google Image Search terms? the one for mindmap is wonderfully complex looking :)

gis for “google results”

Guthrie, maybe you should have some fun with that and use mod_rewrite to shuffle people somewhere funny based on referer?

- Jon Williams — 1/5/07 @ 11:59 am

ahhh, thats a fantastic idea!!

I have found some gems on the google image search for “mind’s eye”

Thanks for explaining Welcome to Adobe GoLive! I think I’ll change some of my archive pages to Welcome to Netscape Composer.

Off topic, but glad to see someone else appreciating the Lower My Bills graphics (your link on the nn del.icio.us page). I posted an earlier LMB ad–it wasn’t a cartoon but a gyrating girl in a bikini top. Except at the time she wasn’t gyrating–the ad was just broken.

By the way, I know you don’t want to hear this but the del.icio.us links on the front nn page aren’t wrapping so the blue box is pushed in front of the main posts (in IE 6 on PC at w*rk of course).

I take that back–fixed now.

LMB.com has the craziest stuff.. i remember you posting that one. there’s an ad with a super illongated gradient deer that is my all time favorite (i printed it out 6 feet long, high resolution at one point)… i cant find it now, though!! also there are the babies that turn blue when you roll over them..

honestly i would love to get paid to make them.. it would probably be the best web design job ever

This may be a good place to look for old ads: http://adverlicio.us/

Thanks for the plug, Jon. We’ve archived several thousand online ads and tagged/categorized them for easy searching.

Start here for a laugh —

Enjoy!

Uh, yeah, I didn’t explain. It’s the Electribe ER-1 R Mkii, a budget rhythm synth. I was looking for pics of it and hit the mother lode.
