Wizardishungry said on his del.icio.us that the “halloween” thread was divisive and split along generational lines. I saw the split more as polite vs rude, and people who valued Paddy’s criticism of NN vs people who thought it would be good opportunity to attack her blog. It did not make me sad. The threads on my old blog that made me sad at the time tend to be the most fun to read now.
